Do Less Do More
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You can work hard all day and still feel stuck, and that frustration can make you chase more tactics, more tools, and more noise. The truth: your results are talking to you every day. When something consistently isn’t working, the answer often isn’t “do more” it’s “stop feeding it.”
Life Challenges And Success Mindset
SPEAKER_00Life is waiting for you each day, and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way toward success. It's not simple, but it can be
Common Sense Motivation Introduction
SPEAKER_00done. Welcome to my common sense motivation episodes. I'm Chris FantasticPow. Doing less of what's not working and do more of what is.
Do Less Of What Fails
SPEAKER_00Sometimes the answer to moving forward is not doing more. Sometimes the answer is stopping what keeps taking you backwards. We have a habit of holding on to things simply because we have been doing them for a while. The same routines, the same habits, the same excuses, the same way of thinking, the same people, the same strategies. And then we wonder why we keep getting the same results. Here's some common sense. If something is consistently not working, stop giving it so much of your time, energy, and attention. That does not mean you quit every time something becomes difficult. There's a difference between being hard and something simply not producing results. Success requires discipline. It also requires adjustments.
Questions That Reveal What Works
SPEAKER_00You have to be willing to look at your life and ask yourself, what am I doing that's actually moving me forward? What am I doing that's keeping me stuck? What habits are producing results? What habits are producing excuses? What relationships are helping me grow? What relationships are constantly draining me? What actions are keeping me closer to my goals? And what actions are simply making me feel lousy? Because being busy and being productive are not the same thing. You can spend an entire day running around and still not move one inch closer to where you want to go. Sometimes we make success harder than it has to be, because we keep trying to force things that are clearly not working. Think about it.
Practical Examples To Reinforce Habits
SPEAKER_00If you own a business and one marketing strategy is producing customers, while another one keeps costing money without producing results, where should your attention go? Toward what works. If getting up early in the morning gives you more productive time, do more of it. If exercising gives you more energy, do more of it. If spending time around positive people strengthens your thinking, do more of it. If planning your day keeps you focused, do more of it. If saving money gives you greater financial control, do more of it. And if procrastination keeps costing your opportunities, do less of it. If excuses keep delaying your goals, do less of them. If negative thinking keeps convincing you that you cannot win, give it less attention. If certain habits repeatedly pull you backwards, stop feeding them. Life will give you clues. Your results are talking to you every day. Pay attention.
Consistency Beats New Strategies
SPEAKER_00Sometimes the biggest breakthrough does not come from discovering something brand new. It comes from recognizing what's already working and becoming more consistent with it. You don't always need another strategy. Sometimes you simply need more discipline with the strategy that's already producing results. Too many people abandon what works because it looks too simple. Consistency looks boring. Discipline looks repetitive. Doing the basic every day does not always feel exciting. But results don't care whether the process is exciting. Results care whether the process works.
Stop Chasing Shiny Distractions
SPEAKER_00So stop chasing everything. Stop chasing direction every time something new catches your attention. Stop giving equal energy to things producing unequal results. Look at your life. Look at your business. Look at your relationships. Look at your health. Look at your goals. Then make a decision. Do less of what's not working and do more of what is working. And then keep doing what works long enough for consistency to turn into results. You do not have unlimited time. You do not have unlimited energy. So stop spending your best effort on things that keep giving you the worst results. Put your energy where growth is happening. Put your attention where progress is happening. Put your discipline where results are happening. Sometimes success is not all about adding more to your life. Sometimes success begins when you finally have the courage to remove what is not working and double down on what is. Do less of what keeps you stuck. Do more of what keeps you growing. And never confuse movement with progress.
