Life is waiting for you each day and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way toward success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my common sense motivation episodes. I'm Chris FantasticPow. Health is wealth, the real truth. Dedicated to my sister Natalie, who said something that stopped me in my tracks. She said, It's easier to make money than it is to take care of your health. And when she said this, I had to pause, because that statement carries more truth than most people want to admit. We live in the world that measures success by how much we make, not how well we live. We're surrounded and bombarded by advertisers telling us what we need to buy to look successful. The newest car, the biggest house, the name brand clothes, the fancy watch, the supplements that fix everything. We're told that money solves problems, and in some ways it does. And yes, it does make life easier, but here's the flip side. When your health is gone, the money just becomes a band aid. It can't fix what you neglect to protect. We're sold the dream, but at what cost? Everywhere you turn, someone's trying to sell you something. They say if you just had this one thing, you'll feel better. If you buy this program, this product, this miracle cure, you'll be whole again. But think about it, we've got more gyms than ever, yet more people out of shape. More healthcare facilities than ever, yet more people sick. More diets, detox, and miracle pills, and yet more confusion and less discipline. We've learned how to make money, we've mastered how to spend it, but we're forgetting how to take care of ourselves. We've worked overtime for a lifestyle that quietly is robbing us of the energy to enjoy it. We chase promotions, but can't climb a flight of stairs without getting winded. We talk about grinding for success, but grind so hard we wear down the very body we need to sustain it. That's not success, that's imbalance disguised as progress. Society taught us that success is external, what people can see. But true wealth is internal, it's what people can't see. Your peace of mind, your energy, your ability to wake up with purpose, not pain. But let's be honest, we treat our bodies like machines that can be replaced. But your body isn't a car, it's a vessel. You only get one. You can't trade it in for a newer model. And if you keep running it without maintenance, without sleep, without proper fuel, without mental rest, one day it's going to break down. And when that happens, no paycheck, no promotion, and no product can fix it. Money can buy a doctor, but not health. It can buy comfort, but not peace. It can buy you time off, but not more time. We need to start putting as much effort into our health as we do our hustle. Imagine if people protected their peace like they protected their profits. Imagine if you value eight hours of sleep as much as you value eight streams of income. Your health is your first form of wealth. Without it, the rest will lose its shine. I get it, life is busy. We've got goals, bills, families, responsibilities, but here's something I've learned after years in business and leadership. If you don't make time for your wellness, you'll be forced to make time for your illness. That's not a quote, that's reality. Success isn't just what you build, it's what you sustain. It's not just how high you climb, it's how strong you stay while climbing. Health isn't a luxury, it's a responsibility. Because when you're healthy in mind, body, and spirit, you show up better for your family, your business, your purpose, and your future. So yes, let's make the money, let's build the dream, let's achieve the goals, but let's not forget the engine that drives it all. That's you. Start taking your health as seriously as your hustle. Because when your health is strong, your confidence grows, your energy multiplies, and suddenly life doesn't just feel successful, it feels good. The message isn't just about eating better or exercising more, it's about living with awareness. Because real success isn't about how much you can buy, it's about how well you can live. And at the end of the day, the biggest return on investment is not found in a stock, a business, or a paycheck, because health isn't just part of a success, it is success. Here's a story. My first trip to Hawaii, a lesson I'll never forget. My first trip to Hawaii, I had just left my hotel room and decided to take a walk toward the balcony area on the ground floor. As I approached the edge I stood there for a moment, gazing out at the beautiful ocean waves crashing against the rocky shoreline. The sound, the sight, the calm, it was something special. There were other people standing around taking in the same view. But out of the corner of my eye I noticed one man particular. He was being pushed in a wheelchair, and attached to the back of that chair was an oxygen tank. You could tell he needed it just to breathe. Now here's the part that changed me. As I was looking at the ocean, my mind wasn't fully there. I remember mumbling to myself, I've got to get back to my business. I've got too much to do. The truth is, I was frustrated that I had even taken this trip. I had only allowed myself three short days in Hawaii, and I was already thinking about going back to work. That's when the man in the wheelchair turned his head toward me. He must have overheard what I said because he raised his voice and called out, Young man, do you see me sitting here with this oxygen tank, and this man pushing me around, which by the way I don't like? I nodded and a smile and said yes. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said something I'll never forget. I'm a millionaire. This is my first time ever coming to Hawaii. All my life I kept saying I didn't have time. I was too busy making money, too focused on getting rich. Now I finally have the money, but I don't have my health. He paused for a second, took a breath from his oxygen tank, and continued. Don't you ever let me hear you say you don't have time to live your life? Because if I could, I'd give you my entire fortune just to have your health. That statement hit me hard. It's one of those moments that stop you right where you stand, when a stranger becomes a teacher. From that day on I promise myself to live a more balanced life. To not just work to make a living, but to make time for living. Because money can buy a lot of things, but it can't buy back your health, your time, or your peace. That day in Hawaii changed how I define success forever. Make it happen. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Thank you for listening.
