WHY NO ONE LISTENS TO WISDOM

Chris "Fantastic" Powell

Ever wonder why we chase answers while ignoring those who already have them? Wisdom stands quietly waiting for those humble enough to listen, carrying answers for those bold enough to ask questions. True wisdom comes from lived experience - the blood, sweat, failure, and perseverance that can guide us if we're willing to learn.

Speaker 1:

Life is waiting for you each day and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way towards success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my Common Sense Motivation episodes. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Why does no one listen to wisdom anymore? It's a question that continues to echo in my mind. We chase success, we pray for direction, we beg for answers, and yet we ignore the one voice that already walked the road.

Speaker 1:

We're trying to figure out Wisdom, not the kind you get from a quote on a coffee mug or a social media reel. I'm talking about real wisdom, the kind that has lived through storms. I'm talking about real wisdom, the kind that has lived through storms, crawled through darkness and still found the strength to stand. The kind that earned its stripes through blood, sweat, failure and perseverance. That's wisdom. See, wisdom is not just knowledge. It's not just good advice.

Speaker 1:

Wisdom is experience that has been tested. It's the result of countless mistakes, late nights, broken dreams, tough lessons, and still chose to rise. Wisdom has been where you're trying to go. It's already taken the steps we're afraid to take. It's already faced the fears we think we're too big to beat. It's already fallen in the very places we're trying to stand tall and because of that, wisdom carries something powerful that most of us are too distractive, too prideful or too impatient to access. It carries answers.

Speaker 1:

But here's the thing Wisdom doesn't force itself on anyone. It doesn't demand attention or shout over the noise. It stands quietly in the corner of life, arms folded, backpack on, waiting, waiting for someone with humility and hunger to ask the right question, waiting for someone bold enough to listen. Inside that backpack is experience. Inside that experience are the keys to the doors. You're trying to kick down the piece. You can't seem to find the shortcuts. You've been wasting time chasing the understanding you've been praying for, but most people they'll scroll past it. They'll talk to someone with zero experience before they sit down with someone who has already lived it. They'd rather fumble through it themselves than learn from someone else's pain. Why? Because listening to wisdom requires humility, and humility is rare. It means admitting you don't know everything. It means being coachable. It means slowing down when the world says speed up and that's not popular.

Speaker 1:

But for those who do listen to wisdom, life changes, doors open, mistakes shrink and growth becomes accelerated. So I ask you, are you seeking answers while ignoring the person who already has them? Are you running towards success but leaving behind the guide who could walk you there faster and wiser. Wisdom is waiting. It's not hiding, it's not out of reach. It's just waiting for someone ready to respect the journey it's already been through. And when you finally choose to sit down with wisdom, you'll realize it was never the path that was confusing. It was your refusal to listen to the one who had already traveled it. Make it happen. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Thank you for listening.
