Ai IS HERE
AI isn't something to fear but something to understand, adapt to, and use with purpose. Every technological revolution in history has brought more convenience and more opportunity, and artificial intelligence represents the next evolution that will expand our capabilities rather than diminish them
Life is waiting for you each day and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way towards success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my Common Sense Motivation episodes. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. I get a lot of questions about AI and what I think about it.
Speaker 1:Ai is here and no, it's not the end of the world. It's the beginning of a new one. Everywhere you look, companies are tapping into the possibilities of artificial intelligence and there's a lot of noise out there, some saying it'll take over, others saying it'll free us. But here's what I know for sure AI is not something to fear, it's something to understand. Ai is not something to fear. It's something to understand, adapt to and use with purpose. It's going to help push technology forward, like we've done every time before. From video productions to finance, legal systems, to healthcare, education, to customer service.
Speaker 1:Ai is showing up in every corner of our lives and it's not slowing down. What used to take hours can now take minutes. Tasks that drain our time can now be streamlined. But stop for a moment. This isn't brand new. We've been here before.
Speaker 1:We used to ride horses across long distances just to get from city to the next. Then came the automobile. Did it end jobs? No to the next. Then came the automobile. Did it end jobs? No, it birthed an entire industries factories, mechanics, gas stations, shipping companies and travel services. We used to use passbooks to track money, wait weeks for mail to cross oceans and spend days planning things that now happen instantly with one click or tap. Then came the computer, the internet, the smartphone, the airplane, the cloud. Every single evolution brought two things more convenience and more opportunity. Let me say it loud no revolution ever destroyed the world. It expanded. And now here comes AI fast, powerful, expansive. It's going to enter every sector and it's going to spark job opportunities, business products and services we can't even dream of yet.
Speaker 1:But here's one thing AI will never replace your integrity, your character, your confidence, your heart. Ai can write, analyze and calculate, but it cannot lead with integrity, it cannot believe when the odds are stacked, it cannot care, it cannot respect, it cannot love, it cannot look into someone's eyes and say I believe in you. Ai might tell you what confidence means, but it can't wake up and choose it for you. Ai might define kindness, but it can't give it from a place of compassion. Ai can create systems, but it can't build character that's on you.
Speaker 1:So don't sit on the sidelines watching this technology rise. Don't shrink back in fear of what's coming. Stand up, step up, learn it, leverage it and lead with heart, because in the future we're walking into, people who thrive won't be the ones who hide. It'll be the ones who grow, the ones who understand that tools don't replace people. They empower the right ones. This isn't the end of jobs. It's the birth of new dreams. This isn't the death of creativity. It's the start of a new type of genius. This isn't the fall of humanity. It's the challenge for us to rise deeper with meaning. The future is not AI versus you. It's AI with you, if you've got that mindset, the vision and the discipline. So I'll leave you with this. The world is evolving fast and the question is are you evolving with it?
