THE LIE CALLED LUCK
Success isn't about luck, it's about consistent effort, resilience, and dedication that often goes unseen. What others casually dismiss as luck is actually years of invisible hustle, early mornings, late nights, and unwavering commitment when nobody's watching or applauding.
Life is waiting for you each day and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way towards success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my Common Sense Motivation episodes. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. The Lie Called Luck.
Speaker 1:People love to say it about others they just got lucky. They see someone rise, break through, build something powerful and instead of looking deeper, they slap the lazy label on it called luck. But let's be real. Luck is not a strategy. Luck doesn't build empires. Luck doesn't stay up late. Luck doesn't grind through rejection, sacrifice and silence. People do. Yeah, luck might crack the door open, but effort kicks it wide open. Luck might light the match, but discipline is what keeps the fire alive. And here's the truth. What they call luck is often years of invisible hustle. It's the early mornings, it's the lonely nights. It's the commitment when no one's clapping. It's the resilience when no one sees.
Speaker 1:You're always hearing people say that others just got lucky. Their business did a million dollars. Luck he or she lost all their weight. Luck they got a scholarship to the best college. Luck she got a promotion. Luck. But the real truth people don't want to face is to get lucky means someone moved lazy out of the way and used a lot of hard work to so-called get lucky. But let's be clear lucky, if that's what you want to use, doesn't hang around the lazy. It rewards the ready, the relentless, the committed. So stop chasing luck, start building consistency, because in the end, success doesn't fall from the sky. It rises from the grind. You just keep showing up and one day they too will call you lucky. But you'll know the truth that you've earned every inch of your success. Make it happen. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Thank you for listening.
