Life is waiting for you each day and you have to prepare for each challenge along the way towards success. It's not simple, but it can be done. Welcome to my Common Sense Motivation episodes. I'm Chris Fantastic Powell. Doing right still wins. Most people walk around thinking that doing right doesn't matter anymore, that effort, integrity or trying your best just gets you overlooked. But I'm here to tell you it does matter. They think the loud ones, the fake ones, the shortcut always wins. But that's a lie. Doing right still wins. You might not see it today, you might not see it this week, but just like a mighty redwood tree starts as a tiny seed, greatness starts with quiet, steady effort.

There's a quote, and some of you will recognize the book it comes from. It's quoted as saying If you become possessed with this faith, you will not need to worry about your success or failure, for success must come. You will not need to be anxious about results, but will work joyfully and peacefully, knowing that right thoughts and right efforts will inevitably bring about right results. That's powerful. You see, doing right might not bring instant results, but it builds, it stacks, like planting a redwood seed Nothing happens at first, but day after day as the roots grow quietly underground, something powerful is forming. Then one day it breaks to the surface, then it towers. That's how greatness is built. You won't always see the rewards of doing right right away, but you're building something deep and when it does show up it'll be stronger, taller and more lasting than anything that came easy.
