Life has a way of making us feel like we missed the perfect moment. We get frustrated when things don’t happen on our timeline—when the job doesn’t come through, the relationship doesn’t work out, or the opportunity slips through our fingers. We call it bad timing, but the truth is, if it didn’t happen, it simply wasn’t ready yet.

Speaker 1:

There's no such thing as bad timing. It's just not ready yet. Life has a way of making us feel like we've missed the perfect opportunity, the perfect moment. We get frustrated when things don't happen on our timeline, when the job doesn't come through, the relationship doesn't work out or the opportunity slips through our fingers. We call it bad timing. But the truth is, if it didn't happen, it simply wasn't ready. Yet the world operates on preparation. A seed planted in winter will not grow in the snow, not because it failed, but because it wasn't the season yet. The same applies to your success. A delayed opportunity is often a developing opportunity, and what feels like a closed door might be a doorway still under construction. But this is where many people stop pursuing their dreams and goals. The frustration we feel in waiting should not be mistaken for failure. It should be seen as refinement, because growth is happening beneath the surface and timing is never bad. It's simply setting up for something better. And the right moment is not something you chase. It's something that aligns when you and the opportunity are both fully prepared. Don't get frustrated when things don't happen, when you think they should Keep preparing, keep improving. What is truly meant for you can be yours, but can only be delayed for the perfect moment.

Here's a story the bamboo lesson. Mike had a dream, one he had since childhood. He wanted to build a company that would change lives. He had the vision, the passion and the work ethic. But every time he thought he was about to break through, life pushed him back. Investors turned him down, customers didn't show up and the progress felt slow.

Speaker 1:

One day, exhausted and on the edge of giving up, mike took a walk and met an old gardener in the park. The gardener was watering what seemed like an empty patch of soil. What are you growing? Mike asked Bamboo. The gardener replied with a smile and asked Mike why he looked so disappointed. Mike frowned it was my business, he said. And then he said to the gardener I don't see what you're watering. The gardener replied that's because bamboo takes time For years. You water it and it appears, if nothing is happening, no sprouts, no visible progress. But beneath the surface the roots are growing, spreading deep and strong. Then, when it's ready, it shoots up almost overnight, growing several feet in just weeks.

Speaker 1:

Mike stood still absorbing the lesson, but the gardener continued. The mistake people make is thinking nothing is happening. Just because they can't see it. They quit watering too soon. But success, like bamboo, grows underground first. If you stop too early, you'll never see it rise. Mike was surprised at the gardener's explanation, as though it was exactly what he needed to hear.

Speaker 1:

Then Mike began to realize his own efforts weren't wasted. They were laying down the roots. The failures weren't bad timing, they were necessary preparation. With renewed determination, he went back to work it. They were laying down the roots. The failures weren't bad timing, they were necessary preparation. With renewed determination, he went back to work, refining his skills, learning from his setbacks and growing stronger. Months later, an investor who had once turned him down came back with an offer. Customers start noticing his work built and almost overnight his business took off. It wasn't luck, it wasn't timing, it was readiness and to having the patience to wait for preparedness to meet his opportunity. Never give up though the pace seems slow. Make it happen.
