It's about taking pride in what you do, knowing that your work represents you. When you put integrity into everything you touch, people trust you, respect you and remember you for the right reasons. Here's a story the Builder's Last House.
Speaker 1:There was once an old carpenter named James who had spent his life building beautiful houses. He was known for his skill and his attention to detail, but as he got older he decided it was time to retire. His boss asked him to build just one last home before leaving. Tired and ready to be done, james didn't put in his usual effort. He used cheap materials, rushed the work and didn't pay attention to the details. When the house was finished, it looked fine on the outside, but James knew it wasn't his best work. On the last day, the boss said I have a surprise for you, james, and handed James the keys and said this house is my gift to you. Thank you for all your hard work.
Speaker 1:James was shocked. If he had known he was building his own home, he would have done everything differently. He realized that every job he had done was a reflection of him, and this time he had signed his work with carelessness instead of integrity. Every job, big or small, is like a house you're building for yourself. Don't cut corners, don't rush, don't do it just to get it done. Give your best effort every time, because your work is your signature. Sign it with integrity and you'll build a life and reputation that you can be proud of. Make it happen.
